The FUTREX-6100 is Futrex's most advanced body composition analyzer. It offers the same accuracy and repeatability as the FUTREX-5500, while requiring less information on the test subject. It is FDA 510(k) cleared and carries the CE Medical mark for international use.

The FUTREX-6100 body composition analyzer provides the following results:

• Percent Body Fat
• Total Body Fat (pounds or kg)
• Weight of "Essential Body Fat" - This amount of body fat is needed to protect the body from infectious diseases and to protect the internal organs from bruising damage.
• Weight of "Reserve Body Fat" - The amount of additional body fat that does not cause any medical risks, and provides a reservoir of "fuel" for use by the body.
• Weight of "Excess Body Fat" - The amount of body fat that is over and above the combination of Essential Body Fat plus Reserve Body Fat. Excess Body Fat causes the risk of serious health problems such as strokes, heart attacks, diabetes and certain forms of cancer.
• Total Lean Mass (pound or kg)

The FUTREX-6100 has two separate calibration set options:

The FUTREX-6100/XL :: The XL version of the FUTREX-6100 is calibrated for adults age 18 and above.

The FUTREX-6100A/ZL :: The A/ZL version of the FUTREX-6100 is calibrated for adults age 18 and above, and includes a separate calibration for children from the ages of 5-17.
